How Helping Myself Now Helps Others

When I first heard that there was an abdominal massage in America that could help with fertility problems, I was very sceptical.

Despite this, my own desperation took me to the States to find answers for myself - and my passion for healing began.

I realised, not only could I help myself, I could maybe help others.

As a young woman who had lost three babies and both fallopian tubes, I knew the great pain of fertility loss.

I have an interest in recurrent miscarriage and autoimmune blood testing.
I began the first fertility abdominal practitioner in Northern Ireland in June 2009.

I knew after my trip to America that Maya massage was helpful, but due to its contraindications with IVF, I felt compelled to create something that would work.

As a fully trained naturopath, I decided to medically train and find a way around the contraindications of treatment.

So, I created the Logan Method and Logan Method Abdominal Massage, and they were both accredited by the FHT in May 2013. (Click here to read more about The Logan Method)

Logan Method Massage is a non-invasive, gentle external massage technique suitable for both women and men.

The technique helps improve organ function by relieving congestion, enhancing blood supply, increasing lymphatic drainage and aiding nerve supply to the pelvic and reproductive organs.

It is best known for the correction of a prolapsed, fallen or tilted uterus and for the relief of many common digestive disorders.

At the core of this technique for women is the emphasis on the positioning of the uterus, which is associated with a wide range of gynaecological disorders.

This massage gently manipulates the muscles and connective tissues that hold the pelvic organs in place. This helps re-position any organs in that area that may have shifted.

Once any blockages and congestion are resolved, the body can self-regulate, heal and regenerate.

The massage also aids relaxation and can help to achieve a more positive emotional connection to the reproductive area.

I don’t believe my children Aiyana, who was born on January 11, 2011, and Tommy, who was born on June 27, 2013, would be here today without the combination of these complementary therapies alongside IVF.

In addition to this, as part of the Logan Abdominal Massage approach, I recommend medical micro-nutrition and naturopathic techniques with the intention of improving treatment outcome.

The treatment is renowned for releasing issues in our tissues because it aids lymphatic venous (blood) flow in our bodies that may be causing problems such as painful menstruation, fertility failure, varicose veins and much more.

This has been a very personal journey for me. I believe my method suppressed the toxicity from my endometriosis to allow my own IVF to be successful.

By seeking answers and results for myself, I was able to unlock the combination of treatments that have supported over 1000 pregnancies to date.
