Maya Message

Maya massage is based on the understanding of the importance of the positioning of the reproductive and digestive organs for pelvic and abdominal health.

Traditionally, basic Maya massage has been unsuitable to support IVF or to use with any synthetic drugs. This prompted Ruth Ellen to create the first FHT- accredited programme suitable for IVF and medical assistance.
It’s a non-invasive, gentle external massage technique suitable for both women and men to help improve organ function by relieving congestion, enhancing blood supply, increasing lymphatic drainage and aiding nerve supply to the pelvic and reproductive organs.

It involves abdominal and lower back massage, focusing on aligning reproductive and abdominal organs.
The massage gently manipulates the muscles and connective tissues that hold the pelvic organs in place. This helps re-position any organs in that area that may have shifted.

Once any blockages and congestion are resolved, the body can self-regulate, heal and regenerate.

This massage also aids relaxation and can help to achieve a more positive emotional connection to the reproductive area. This massage also promotes feelings of wellbeing to shift clients from a negative emotional place into a positive one, which is vitally important in the journey to motherhood.

The technique has also been found helpful for chronic stomach problems, (including indigestion and constipation) and can help with the prevention and treatment of benign prostate enlargement in men.
